The Catholic Women's League is the largest national organization of Catholic
women in Canada with a tradition of service to others as expressed in its motto
"For God and Country". It focuses on directives to deepen spirituality and to
nurture Christian Family life.
New members are always welcomed to the meetings on the second Tuesday of each month in the St. Joseph Meeting Room. See the bulletin for more information.
Why do we belong to a national organization? The League has been the voice
of Catholic women across Canada and has spoken out on numerous subjects
such as education, health, community life and Christian family life. For the past
40 years, the national executive has had the privilege of meeting annually with
federal government officials to present the resolutions adopted at the Annual
National Convention. No one else has such an opportunity.
